More ABOUT Robin

Passionate About Empowering the FEMININE

Robin has always been deeply spiritual, losing her father to lung cancer at the age of 2 touched her life with a profound grief from an early age; but with that grief came a direct and very close line of communication to her departed ancestors. Always asking and seeking answers to spiritual questions, wondering what happens/happened after/before this life.

Robin and her daughters

Raised by her single mother who became involved in Mormonism when Robin was 11, she converted and was baptized, appeased with the answers this dogma provided for a time. Devoted to this ideology, at age 22 Robin served a Spanish-Speaking mission in which she went door to door in neighborhoods in Central Oregon and Washington state, where prodominately Latin American migrant communities resided. This time was profoundly meaningful in her Spiritual development and she found deep fulfillment in sharing and hearing stories of how God was present for people of any belief system; the tender mercies and synchronicities that lined up for their wellbeing from a Source of loving intention. In Mormonism this is called Testimony. Bearing testimony to the mystical and spiritual experiences that can only be felt, that no amount of rationalism or intellectualism can find its way to. Knowing, and growing that knowing by hearing the knowing of others. Doing so in the Spanish language and with the Latinx people was one of the most humbling and heartwarming experiences of her life.

Over time after returning from her mission, Robin was feeling less and less aligned with the imposed structures, especially regarding the Church's treatment of women. While there exists a belief in this paradigm of a Divine Mother, She is not spoken of or even named, and has no access to the Priesthood (the Power of God given to men on Earth). Throughout her first marriage to a narcissistic "man of God", Robin experienced personally the protection of masculine abuse and violence against women enabled by this belief system. She eventually began to see how erasing the divinity of the Feminine has been the primary method of shaming women into meek obedience. Robin left the church in 2012 and has been seeking spiritual wisdom, especially with regard to the sacred feminine, from many mythic and animist traditions ever since. Even relying on a more humanistic approach within scientism throughout her graduate education in Social Work, but found here a tragic lack of soul.

Robin is highly sensitive to the energies of others, stemming from use of empathy to alert and warn of any volatility, violence, or otherwise unpredictable behavior of the traumatized children she grew up with. She found in her adolescence that time outdoors in nature helped to reset her energetic system. Born and raised in the high Nevada Desert and growing up at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Robin has always emersed herself in nature and the outdoors. An avid skier, backpacker, cyclist, and stand-up paddle boarder, Robin relies on Mother Nature to recharge and ground her through the hardships life brings. Leaning into the wisdom of trees, fungi, and the furred and winged creatures with whom we share this beautiful planet brings a remembering of the balance to be found by following our instincts. Robin loves to share her outdoor hobbies and passions with her husband and children and hopes to bring the lessons of nature into her music and coaching to create diverse communities where strengths are lifted up and areas of weakness can be met with complimentary strengths witinin others.

Robin is a mother and step-mother to two daughters and understands from deep personal experience the challenges facing women and girls today, especially with social media and AI. Her work in child welfare has resulted in exposure to intimate details of sexual perpetration and violence against women for many indivual cases. Now watching the uncovering of ungodly rings of powerful men profiting on the lifetime effects of the crippling abuse of girls and women, while our sitting president bends the Justice system to his will to cover it up again. Understanding from childhood the harm of domestic and family violence, addiction, poverty, homelessness, and untreated trauma and mental illness; seeing how that harm is deeply absorbed by the children. In child welfare long enough to see the generational cycles of that harm, watching as those same children who entered child welfare due to the abuse or negligence of their parents, then grow up to perpetrate the same harm on their own children. Work in systems through a lens of Social Work, has enlightened Robin's perspective to all the ways our system is failing to raise and cultivate healthy children and families, and all the holes in policy and gaps in resources to effectively intervene to protect children, when the system being used to do it is as corrupt with patriarchal values and power-over structures as the system that created it. Participating in such structures when it goes directly against personal values is called Moral Injury. Using the patriarchy to "heal" the generational wounds created by the patriarchy can never truly heal. But women who want to "help", to "heal" are forced to do so within the system that created the wounds in the first place. It's time to imagine something NEW!

Robin began playing violin in 6th grade, when she got involved in the free music programs provided by her public school system. She has relied on this gift of music to express and cope with the emotional pain of the harrowing exposure to human suffering that Robin has witnessed from such an early age. Music has been the only expression that has healed Robin's own HEART center from the layers of armor that exposure to this knowledge has caused her to put around her love and compassion, containing it, protecting it because the pain in today's world is too overwhelming!

Applying principles from Buddhist, Hermetic, Celtic, Jewish, Gnostic, and Vedic traditions, as well as sacred geometry, numerology, and Jungian depth psychology, Robin creates rituals and practices to connect with the Sacred Feminine through sound healing music using violin, rhythm, vocals, pan drum, and ukulele for meditation and vibrational tuning of the subtle energy body.

All her music is played using the A=432hz tuning system, which is more aligned with Earth’s vibrations and most commonly used in sound healing. Robin also uses unique arrangements of classical music in her workshops and rituals, which research has shown has a calming and regulating effect on the human nervous system. It is important to come together in safe and sacred reverence to heal the wounds to our Root, Sacrel, and Heart centers, perpetrated by the abuse and violence of the patriarchy. Only once we have done this energetic work, can the flow of creative energy from the Great Mother Goddess be unimpeded in bringing forth what is next.

In Sound Healing there is a formula commonly used to define it : Intention + Vibration = Healing. Throughout all her years of seeking esoteric and mystical wisdom, Robin has learned how POWERFUL the human consciousness is. That our thoughts and intentions cary electro-magnetic energy and Robin has and continues to do the work of unblocking her HEART so she can share her healing music with anyone in need of tuning their energy centers, in particular the HEART center. The center for lovingkindness and compassion, which are also the primary traits of the Great Mother Goddess, and the FEMININE NATURE that will heal the world. It is Robin's hope that this work will develop others' abilities to connect with Her, to link arms and watch the FEMININE RISE, so we can imagine a new way of being BEYOND patriarchy.
